GCC AMBUCS Gains $250 from WHMS Contest!

A Champaign radio station, Lite Rock 97.5, WMHS, ran an inovative contest in July where a lucky listener could win $125 for themselves and $125 for their favorite charity. GCC AMBUCS was picked by two of the winners, netting us $250 for use in our area projects!

The idea was conceived and implemented by Mike Haile, one of the managers of the station. It was a one-of-a-kind contest and WHMS was the first in the nation to help out charities in this fashion.

Kudos to Mike and many thanks to the two winners who picked us as their favorite!
