2010 Scarecrow Festival
Saturday, September 18th, 2010
8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Location: AMBUCS Park 1200 East University, Urbana, IL
With over 25 happy Flea Market / Garage Sales vendors every year, AMBUCS baked goods, and the Barrel Train, we have a very busy day!
The new addition to the Barrel Train, instigated by Scott Price, is a wheelchair accessible engine built by Flex & Gate pictured at right.
The Sundowners Car Club brings around 40 classic and modified vehicles. Kids games, food, barreltrain rides, hayrack rides and a scarecrow costume contest round out the day.

Barstool Golf
GCC Chapter of AMBUCS had a great time hosting the Barstool event this year. 46 teams participated, and fun was had by all. We were able to raise over $3,600.00. See the pictures
Golf Outing
This year our Golf Outing was June 6th at Brookhill Golf Course in Rantoul. There were 49 players who enjoyed the course and the Par 3 Poker and the 50/50 Raffel. There were 16 volunteers helping with the event. We had 2 Banner Sponsors, Carle Foundation and Worden Martin, and 25 others sponsored the holes. The Awards Dinner was donated by El Toro; tacos, rice, refried beans and chips and salsa were had by all. When the final totals came in, $6,725.75 was raised for our various projects! Thanks to all the participated and volunteered their time!

June 17th, 2011 is the date for the next golf outing. Save the date!
Annual Raffle
Every year we have the best, most fun raffle around! It is filled with excitement, prizes, fun, prizes, suspense, prizes, food, prizes and more prizes and more food, and a Grand Prize that can't be beat - the knowledge that your donation goes to help your community!
The next raffel will be held March 5th, 2011. Tickets are $125 for the raffel and dinner; $35 for dinner only. The tickets will be on sale about a month before the event. Come join us!
